Kevin has been practicing with the firm, in patent law and prosecution, since 1983. He is a registered patent agent, and is certified by the Law Society as a specialist in Patent Law. Kevin is an active member of local and national bar associations, and national and international intellectual property associations.

Kevin enjoys arguing about current events, and pestering his children to do their homework. In good weather, he cycles to work on a daily basis risking severe injury in a bid to keep up with bicycle couriers half his age.

Important note: The Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) has recently undergone major changes to its internal IT system. Consequently, a number of CIPO’s routine operations are experiencing significant delays, including processing correspondence and filings, issuing outgoing correspondence, maintaining accurate application statuses, and more. It is currently unknown when these delays will be resolved, but we will continue to closely monitor all cases and the situation for any developments.
