Amy is a lawyer, trademark agent and Partner with the firm. She has over 20 years of experience in the field of trademarks and represents clients in opposition proceedings, appeals, expungements, and infringement disputes. She assists local and international clients with filing and prosecuting trademark and design applications in Canada.
Amy has given many presentations regarding intellectual property rights and acquisition including at the National Franchise and Business Opportunities Show, Ottawa Chamber of Commerce, eWomen’s Network, Business Network International, and the Inventors Association (Ottawa). She has written articles regarding trademarks, copyright and industrial designs and has been published in the Lawyer’s Monthly, Intellectual Property Law Journal, The Lawyers Weekly, Canadian Architect, the International Trademark Association Special Reports, among others.
